Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pulse handles information when you use its currency converter, portfolio tracker, market information, widgets, notifications, and Pulse Pro purchase features. Pulse does not require user registration, sign-in, or a Pulse account.
Information Pulse Processes
Pulse may process portfolio holdings and quantities, selected assets, base currencies, watchlists, preferences, themes, alert settings, notification settings, widget configuration, cached market information, and purchase entitlement status. Much of this information is used locally so the app can display conversions, charts, portfolio values, alerts, widgets, and Pulse Insights.
Local Portfolio and Preference Storage
Portfolio and preference data are primarily stored locally on your device. Pulse does not operate a developer-controlled cloud account system for your portfolio and does not require you to create an account.
Depending on your device settings, local app data may be included in Apple device backups. Backups and device-level storage behavior are controlled by Apple and iOS settings.
App Group Data Sharing With Widgets
Pulse may use Apple App Group storage to share relevant data between the main app and Pulse widgets. This allows widgets to display selected portfolio or market information prepared by the app. App Group storage is part of the local iOS app environment and is not a Pulse user account.
Market-Data Requests
Pulse obtains market information through external market-data APIs. Requests may include symbols, currency codes, asset identifiers, selected time periods, or other information needed to retrieve prices, charts, exchange rates, flags, icons, or related market content.
Market information is provided for informational purposes only and may be delayed or inaccurate. Pulse does not provide financial or investment advice.
Market-data requests may also include technical request information normally transmitted with internet requests, such as IP address, request timing, headers, and device or network metadata. Provider processing depends on the relevant provider's practices and applicable law.
StoreKit Purchases and Subscriptions
Pulse uses Apple StoreKit 2 for the Pulse Pro monthly subscription and Pulse Pro lifetime purchase. Apple processes payments through the user's Apple Account. Oleksandr Miller does not directly receive users' payment card information.
Pulse receives transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock, validate, restore, and manage Pulse Pro access. Apple's privacy information is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Free-Version Advertising Through Google AdMob
The free version of Pulse uses Google AdMob to display banner advertising. AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising information, IP address, usage data, diagnostics, or similar technical information depending on user consent, device settings, region, Google configuration, and applicable law.
If tracking permission is required, iOS App Tracking Transparency controls whether you permit tracking. Denying tracking does not block core Pulse functionality, although ads may be less personalized where applicable. Pulse does not attach your portfolio holdings, quantities, or total portfolio value to banner ad requests.
Google's privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Device Permissions and Notifications
Pulse supports price alerts and portfolio notifications. You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings and app controls. Pulse may retrieve updated market prices to evaluate alerts or prepare notification content. Pulse does not promise continuous real-time notification delivery.
Third-Party Services
Pulse may use Apple services for purchases, subscriptions, restore purchases, device permissions, and operating-system features; Google AdMob for advertising in the free version; and external market-data, image, logo, flag, or chart-related providers to provide app content. These third parties process information under their own policies.
Pulse does not currently claim use of Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, or external AI services for portfolio processing.
Data Retention
Portfolio information, preferences, cached information, and alerts remain in local app storage until changed through app controls, replaced through normal app operation, or removed through iOS behavior. Deleting the app generally removes locally stored application data, subject to iOS behavior, backups, shared containers, and third-party retention.
Information processed by Apple, Google, market-data providers, and other external services is subject to their own retention practices. Support emails are retained as needed to respond to the request and meet applicable obligations.
User Privacy Choices
You can remove assets, adjust alerts, change notification permissions, manage advertising tracking choices through iOS settings where available, cancel subscriptions through Apple subscription settings, and delete the app from your device. Because Pulse does not provide Pulse accounts, there is no Pulse account-deletion process.
You may contact the developer to ask about support correspondence or privacy questions at pulseglobeapp@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
Pulse is not specifically designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to the developer without any required parental permission, contact the developer so the matter can be reviewed.
International Processing by Third-Party Providers
Third-party providers may process technical, purchase, advertising, support, or market-request information outside your province, state, or country. Privacy protections may differ between jurisdictions.
Security Limitations
Pulse uses on-device storage for portfolio information and preferences. Protecting your device, passcode, Apple Account, and backups helps protect this information. No app, storage system, or network connection can guarantee complete security.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when Pulse's features, external services, or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
